Mr. Wong Teck Jung is a Business Development Executive at Maybank Investment Bank. He joined Malayan Banking Berhad under the Maybank Apprentice program in 2010. The program identifies talents for the Bank and Mr. Wong was given stints in various departments with the aim of accelerating his experience as well as career progression. Prior to joining Maybank, he was a market research analyst at a health unit of Frost & Sullivan. Mr. Wong holds Master of Business (Science and Technology) and Bachelor of Science from Monash University, Australia. He received the 2009 National Australia Bank's Science in Business Awards.

During the period of apprenticeship, I also involved in administration, business support, strategic planning & credit evaluation.

Working closely with Monash Immunology Stem Cell Laboratories on a project in relation to Stem Cell Therapeutics commercialization in China. I investigated business opportunities based on already-established joint venture between Monash and Peking University. We analyzed and investigated market size, explored the regulatory and foreign investment issues, and developed a detailed business plan. My work was awarded first place for the 2009 National Australia Bank (NAB) Science in Business Awards.
